FAQ

Who can join Arch?

Current college students, 18 or older, with a working .edu email at a supported school. We verify the email with a code at signup — no exceptions, that's the whole point.

My school isn't supported yet. What do I do?

Email us the school name from your .edu address. We add campuses in waves, city by city — a request from a real student moves your campus up the list.

I never got my verification code.

Check spam and any "Other"/"Promotions" folders — school mail filters are aggressive. Codes expire quickly, so request a fresh one if it's been a while. Still nothing? Email us from the same .edu address and we'll sort it.

Why only 10 swipes a day?

By design. A small daily set keeps matches meaningful and kills doomswiping. It resets every day.

What does Arch Plus cost, and what do I get?

Plus is a small monthly subscription with exactly one perk: once a day, the first card in your deck is someone who already liked you. It's managed (and cancellable) through your Apple subscription settings. See the Plus page.

How do refunds for event tickets work?

For paid events, you can self-refund from the event card until one hour before start time. If the host cancels, everyone is refunded automatically.

How do I report someone or something?

Every profile, event, and message has a report option in its menu — two taps. Reports go to a human-reviewed moderation queue. Urgent? Email support@arch.college with "Safety" in the subject.

How do I block someone?

From their profile or any message thread. Blocking is immediate and mutual — you disappear from each other's feeds, decks, and inboxes.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. It deletes your profile, photos, matches, messages, and events. This is permanent. You can also request deletion by email from your .edu address and we'll confirm within 30 days.

What do you do with my data?

The short version: we use it to run Arch and for nothing else. No ads, no data sales. The long version is the Privacy Policy.

Is Arch on Android?

iOS first — Android is on the roadmap once iOS is solid. Ask us and we'll note the demand.

Still stuck?

Email us — include your school and a screenshot if you can.
