Arch $20 Giveaway — Official Rules

1. Sponsor

Arch ("Sponsor"), operator of the Arch mobile application and arch.college. Contact: support@arch.college.

2. Not affiliated with Instagram or Apple

This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., or Apple Inc. You are providing your information to Arch, not to any of them. Instagram and Apple have no responsibility or liability in connection with this giveaway.

3. Eligibility

Open to individuals who, at the time of entry:

• are 18 years of age or older;
• are currently enrolled students at a college or university supported by Arch, and can verify that status with a valid .edu email address at a supported institution; and
• are legal residents of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia.

Employees of Sponsor and their immediate family or household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

4. Entry period

The entry period for each drawing opens and closes on the dates announced in the corresponding post on Arch's official Instagram account. Sponsor may run multiple drawings; each is governed by these rules.

5. How to enter

Automatic entry. Create an Arch account with a valid .edu email address at a supported institution during the entry period and complete email verification. That's it. Creating an account is free.

One entry per person. Entries are counted per verified individual, not per email address. Sponsor canonicalises addresses to identify the underlying person, and additional variants of the same address (for example, sub-addressing with a + tag) will be treated as one entry.

Alternate free method of entry. Anyone eligible under Section 3 who does not wish to create an account may enter by sending an email to support@arch.college with the subject line GIVEAWAY ENTRY from an eligible .edu address during the entry period. One entry per person, same odds.

6. Prize

USD $20, delivered electronically (for example, via a peer-to-peer payment service or a digital gift card, at Sponsor's discretion). One (1) prize per drawing unless a post states otherwise. Approximate retail value: $20.00. The prize is not transferable, and no substitution is offered except by Sponsor, which may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

7. Odds

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the entry period.

8. Winner selection and notification

The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries after the entry period closes. Sponsor will notify the winner via the email address associated with their entry and/or an Instagram direct message, within seven (7) days of the drawing.

If a winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days of the first notification attempt, declines the prize, or is found ineligible, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

9. Disqualification

Sponsor may disqualify any entry it reasonably determines to be fraudulent or in violation of these rules or of Arch's Terms of Service, including entries made using multiple or automated accounts, addresses that do not belong to the entrant, or any attempt to gain more than one entry per person.

10. Taxes

The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes. At a prize value of $20, no tax reporting form is expected to be issued.

11. Privacy

Information submitted in connection with this giveaway is handled under Arch's Privacy Policy. Sponsor will not sell entrant information, and does not sell user data generally.

12. General conditions

By entering, you agree to these rules and to the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this giveaway. Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs its integrity, and in that event may award the prize among eligible entries received up to the point of impairment.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries; technical failures; or any injury or damage arising from participation in this giveaway or from acceptance or use of the prize.

14. Governing law

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions.

15. Winner's list

To request the name of a winner, email support@arch.college with the subject line GIVEAWAY WINNER REQUEST within thirty (30) days of the drawing.
